Account Deletion
This page explains how to delete your Chocotam account and the data associated with it.
How to delete your account (in-app)
- Open the Chocotam app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account (or Account Withdrawal).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm.
Immediate deletion:
When you tap Delete Account in the app and confirm, your account and associated data are deleted
immediately.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is deleted immediately:
- Account information (e.g., email address, login identifiers)
- Study plans, schedules, study records, and completion notes
- Learning progress, rewards, reward requests, and coupons
- Family account connections and related settings
- Book covers or representative images uploaded by users
Subscription notice:
Deleting your Chocotam account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
Manage or cancel the subscription separately in your store account settings.
What data may be retained
We do not retain your personal data after account deletion, except where retention is required by applicable laws. If any legal retention applies, we will retain only the minimum necessary data for the legally required period.
